About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Architect
to design, plan, and implement technology solutions that align with client business objectives. This hybrid role bridges solution design and project implementation, translating business requirements into technically sound, scalable, and efficient solutions. The Senior Project Architect will work closely with clients, project managers, and internal IT teams to ensure successful delivery, documentation, and validation of technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Solution Development
- Translate client business and technical requirements into actionable solution designs and proposals.
- Develop detailed workplans, technical scopes, and phased deliverables to support project execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet client goals and internal standards.
- Utilize centralized documentation and design templates to create accurate configurations, pricing, and procurement plans.
Project Execution
- Implement technology solutions on-site and remotely, including network infrastructure, server systems, endpoint devices, and cloud services.
- Manage project tasks to completion within scope, schedule, and budget, following standardized project management methodologies.
- Coordinate with project managers on resource planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure comprehensive technical documentation, cutover plans, and validation procedures for all projects.
- Provide escalation support and participate in on-call rotations as required.
Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in project kickoff and handoff meetings, offering technical validation and insights.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across departments and with clients.
- Document project status, updates, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement & Standards
- Contribute to internal standards committees to develop and maintain best practices.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify process improvements or technical refinements.
- Maintain relevant certifications and stay current with emerging technologies.
- Engage in professional development to enhance both technical expertise and business acumen.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an MSP or IT solutions environment with demonstrated experience in both solution design and project implementation.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Purview, admin centers), Azure AD, Azure Infrastructure, networking (switching, firewalls, Wi-Fi/IoT), virtualization, and endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience implementing IT solutions across diverse client environments.
- Certifications (preferred): CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client relationship management skills.
- Process-driven, organized, and detail-oriented with a focus on documentation and accountability.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical and business challenges efficiently.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work environment with both on-site and remote responsibilities.
- On-call rotation may be required to support project escalations or client needs.
