About the Role:
Hollingsgate is representing a reputable company that designs and delivers advanced equipment and technology solutions for industrial clients across North America. This hands-on role supports multiple locations in Canada and the U.S., helping the business run smoothly by delivering IT solutions aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally and translate business needs into scalable IT architecture
- Troubleshoot and deploy IT hardware as needed (local user support)
- Document system architecture, specs, and technical design materials
- Ensure IT policies and compliance standards are met
- Champion ERP-first approaches when solving business problems
- Drive continuous improvement in IT systems, efficiency, and security posture
- Respond to urgent business-impacting IT issues
- Work with internal teams to implement technology-driven business solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, 5+ years of IT experience, experience with ERP, CRM, and WMS (Epicor preferred), experience with EDR, MDR, and spam filtering (e.g. Abnormal Security), desktop support experience, strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, solution design and documentation skills, familiarity with IT compliance and security policies, preferred certification in cybersecurity, willingness to travel occasionally in North America
