This role is ideal for someone who brings a mix of leadership, coaching ability, and strategic HR insight, and who’s passionate about shaping an engaged, high-performing workplace.

What You’ll Do
HR Strategy & Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals
  • Guide and support leadership development efforts — equipping managers with the tools to lead, mentor, and develop their teams
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, communication, and continuous feedback
Employee Development & Engagement
  • Lead the design and implementation of employee development programs that grow technical, functional, and leadership skills
  • Partner with leaders to assess training needs and introduce targeted learning opportunities
  • Build and maintain an engaged culture through proven engagement strategies that improve morale and impact business performance
Talent Acquisition
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent, from job postings to selection and onboarding
  • Support hiring managers in identifying role requirements, candidate screening, and interview processes
Payroll & Benefits Oversight
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll approvals and ensuring accuracy
  • Manage benefits administration and work closely with brokers to evaluate plans and ensure competitive offerings
Employee Relations & Performance
  • Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
  • Act as a trusted resource for both leadership and employees on HR-related issues
Compliance & Systems
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws and HR regulations across the organization
  • Maintain accurate employee records using HR software such as UKG, ADP, or SuccessFactors
  • Leverage HR data to identify trends, inform decisions, and support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of broad HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or HR management role
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws, and familiarity with HR systems (UKG, ADP, SuccessFactors — nice to have)
  • Experience supporting performance management, training, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated success in building high-engagement cultures that drive results
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to interpret and act on HR data and metrics
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership
  • Experience with benefits management and payroll oversight (hands-on payroll processing not required)
Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Leadership role with room to grow and influence company-wide strategy
  • Direct impact on employee development, engagement, and culture
  • Supportive, people-first organization that values innovation and initiative
  • Competitive salary ($90–$120K, depending on experience) + comprehensive benefits
