What You’ll Do
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals
- Guide and support leadership development efforts — equipping managers with the tools to lead, mentor, and develop their teams
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, communication, and continuous feedback
Employee Development & Engagement
- Lead the design and implementation of employee development programs that grow technical, functional, and leadership skills
- Partner with leaders to assess training needs and introduce targeted learning opportunities
- Build and maintain an engaged culture through proven engagement strategies that improve morale and impact business performance
Talent Acquisition
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent, from job postings to selection and onboarding
- Support hiring managers in identifying role requirements, candidate screening, and interview processes
Payroll & Benefits Oversight
- Responsible for overseeing payroll approvals and ensuring accuracy
- Manage benefits administration and work closely with brokers to evaluate plans and ensure competitive offerings
Employee Relations & Performance
- Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
- Act as a trusted resource for both leadership and employees on HR-related issues
Compliance & Systems
- Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws and HR regulations across the organization
- Maintain accurate employee records using HR software such as UKG, ADP, or SuccessFactors
- Leverage HR data to identify trends, inform decisions, and support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of broad HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or HR management role
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws, and familiarity with HR systems (UKG, ADP, SuccessFactors — nice to have)
- Experience supporting performance management, training, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated success in building high-engagement cultures that drive results
- Strategic mindset with the ability to interpret and act on HR data and metrics
- Clear, confident communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership
- Experience with benefits management and payroll oversight (hands-on payroll processing not required)
