Base $120,000 / year + commission & bonus
Role Overview:
Lead end‑to‑end sales efforts for a high‑growth promotional‑products distributor. You’ll drive revenue by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and closing deals across mid‑ to large‑market accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve $1M+ annual revenue
- Prospect, qualify, and manage pipeline in target verticals (e‑commerce, retail, consumer goods)
- Build and maintain relationships with C‑level and procurement stakeholders
- Lead negotiations, craft proposals, and close complex deals
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, collateral, and events
- Track performance metrics, forecast sales, and adapt tactics to meet targets
- Mentor and coach junior sales team members
Must‑Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, including 5+ years in director‐level roles
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas in promotional products or related industries
- Hunter mentality with exceptional prospecting and closing skills
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Nice‑to‑Have:
- Experience in pet‑industry or FDM channels
- Background managing brokers or distributor networks
- Prior experience scaling and mentoring a sales team
