About the Role
Hollingsgate Recruitment is representing a reputable IT Solutions company based in Toronto
that is expanding its sales force across Canada. The company’s Director of Sales is building a high-performance team of Account Managers who are passionate about client relationships, technology solutions, and revenue growth.
This role combines hunting and farming
— you’ll be responsible for generating new business while maintaining and growing your client portfolio. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and product certifications to help you excel in solution-based technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients and prospects, ensuring satisfaction and acting as the main escalation point.
- Manage all client interactions and opportunities through the company CRM system (ConnectWise PSA).
- Drive net-new client acquisition through proactive lead generation, prospecting, and outreach.
- Present and promote the full range of the company’s products and services to maximize client adoption and account penetration.
- Conduct product and service presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal reviews.
- Close new contracts, renewals, and project engagements.
- Prepare and deliver monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and KPI tracking to leadership.
- Partner with product specialists and technical advisors during the sales cycle to ensure solution accuracy and alignment.
- Create and present client proposals and pricing using approved templates.
- Schedule and lead all client engagement activities, including Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews (QBRs, ABRs).
- Support project delivery teams and assist with issue resolution as needed.
- Ensure accounts receivable issues are addressed promptly and communicated to stakeholders.
- Adhere to performance goals and KPIs defined by the Director of Sales and Operations leadership.

- CrowdStrike University Orientation (GEN100)
Additional Professional Development:
- Monthly sales mentorship with the Director of Sales
- Regular product and solution update sessions
- Ongoing access to partner vendor training and certification
Qualifications & Ideal Profile
- 2–8 years of B2B technology or IT services sales experience
- Proven ability to generate leads, book appointments, and close business
- Strong communication and presentation skills — verbal and written must be exceptional
- Highly organized, self-driven, and open to continuous learning
- Comfortable managing a remote sales territory while visiting clients as needed
- Energetic, professional, and eager to build your own book of business
- Open to both junior and senior profiles depending on experience and capability
